The gorge was made accessible to the public in 1875 thanks to a generous donation by Prince Johannes II of Liechtenstein. Sturdy boots and warm clothes are recommended for a hike through the gorge.
Opening hours 2012:
probably from beginning of May to 30 September 2012: daily 8am to 6pm (last entrance: 6pm),
from 01 to 31 Ocotber 2012 from 9am to 4pm (last entrance: 4pm).
2012 Admission Fees:
Adults: Euro 4 (groups or guest card holders: Euro 3.5 per person)
Youths until 18 years: Euro 2.5 (groups or guest card holders: Euro 2.2)
Children up to 6 years are free
